Wedding Date: November 2 & 3, 2007
On December 1, 2008, A&A video received the following handwritten note from Manishi and Rohit..."To the team at A&A Video,
It's hard to
believe that we've been married for nearly one year. Not to mention, it has taken us that long to write this note! Thanks so much for the truly stunning videos and slide show that you prepared for our wedding last November 3, 2007 at The Woodlands Resort.
Rizwan's patience with
Rohit during the slide show preparation is truly praiseworthy. Recognizing how meaningful the slide show was, he sat with us several days before the wedding for 3-4 hours, rearranging images, scanning pictures, finding music as we tried to strike just the right sentiment with the slide show. Plus, the team
on site during the wedding weekend (including
Rizwan) was simply brilliant. They captured some very meaningful images, all while blending into the crowd and remaining unobtrusive. The videos brought tears to the eyes of both sets of parents, and were 30+ years in the making. As cliche as this sounds, thank for making our dreams come true and those of our parents. You have truly made wedding
videography a work of art and have a remarkable talent.
Best,
Manishi Prasad and
Rohit Mehrotra"
On February 2, 2008, A&A video received the following email from Manishi...
"Couple of points that I can share with you quickly:
1) On the wedding weekend,
Riz and his colleague (my apologies that I don't know his name) were extremely easy to work with according to my parents, my in-laws,
Rohit and myself. And
Rohit and his family are difficult to please so this says
alot about
Riz's ability.
2)
Riz invested loads of time in preparing our slide show and actually worked with
Rohit and me to put it together (vs. simply creating a slide show and sending it to us). We spent several hours with him in your studios a few days before the wedding, and he remained patient and helpful throughout the process. The slide show was well-received at the wedding reception, with guests "oohing and
aahing" and dabbing their eyes during the presentation (including our families, who saw the show for the first time at the reception.)
3)
Riz and his colleague were respectful of the photographer making sure not to overcrowd her (and vice
versa) while both teams were getting shots of us.
4) My in-laws LOVE the final product - your team has an amazing ability to capture not only the sentiment but also the story.
Thanks for everything.
Take care,
Manishi"
